Story

"It's OK to not be OK"

The reason why I've chosen this specific charity Psychosis Australia Trust is due to my brother Tanner Bell, who was diagnosed with having psychosis from the age of 16. Tanner was an unbelievable warrior, who fought so hard everyday of he's short lived life, coping with psychosis. A lot of people don't understand the affects psychosis can have on an individual and the constant struggles they have to face, I have seen these struggles that my brother had to face daily and it was horrible, seeing him in pain and not knowing what to do, I wouldn't want anybody else to have to deal with this. Psychosis is a mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality. Tanner was the type of man who never spoke of he's mental health issues and would rather ask somebody else how they're doing rather than think about himself, he was always the one to put everybody else's needs above he's own. Unfortunately on the 17th of October 2017, Tanner was unable to cope with he's inner demons anymore and took he's own life. Due to this devastating tragedy, I believe that by being Tanner's sister it wouldn't be right to do nothing! so I've decided to fundraise for Psychosis in order to help others who may be struggling with this mental health condition, letting them know they are not alone and there is help out there.

I'm making a difference and running for a cause that's close to my heart. I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.

Thanks so much for your support!

Love Tylah
