Hello Friends
It is that time of the year again where the Bruny Island Ultra Marathon is scheduled to take place.
Followed by the support we received last year for the Cancer Council, this year we are continuing to run for another cause.
This year we are aiming to raise funds for Autism Tasmania. Every dollar collected goes to Autism Tasmania.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is growing day by day and we as a group wanted to create more awareness and support the young children who are facing this problem.
Research show that 1 in 100 children, almost 2,30,300 Australians have Autism. Autism prevalence figures have grown over the past 30 years. Autism is the fastest growing development disorder, yet most underfunded. There is no medical detection and cure for Autism. Children with ASD do progress – early intervention is key.
Help us make a difference and spread the word to the many parents who are unaware of this disorder. We look at this as an opportunity to provide that little financial support which could help many children to communicate, develop their social skills and cope with the world.
All donations made online are safe and tax deductible, any assitance would be really appreciable.
