Story
Hi guys!
I'm attempting to run the Medibank Melbourne Marathon in a couple of weeks time!! The 15th of October to be precise. Fingers crossed I make it :-) to the end, alive and still able to move!
The cause I am raising money for is Rainforest Trust Australia. I would love to help with their effort in expanding Daintree national reserve and protecting the rainforest from future deforestation projects. Having been in Australia 6years I have no doubt inadvertently caused untold damage and aided in activities that are harmful to this beautiful planet & country.
Therefore I would love to do whatever little I can to neutralize my footprint.
Although this is my first marathon and my training timeframe may not have been as long as probably required I do hope to complete the course in under 4 hours and if I dont achieve this I will match whatever amount of money raised out of my own pocket!

Our mission at the Rainforest Conservation Fund is to save what we still have, restore what’sbeen lost and preserve our precious Rainforest eco-systems for the benefit of futuregenerations.
Our initial primary focus and current project is creating a Cassowary Corridor from MissionBeach to Cape Tribulation.
We have achieved much to date, but we still need your help as the task to save endangeredspecies is ever more critical.
