Fundraise for Aalyrah and Starlight
Story
Hello friends, family, patients and the hearts of Western Australia and abroad.
Im running the 12km City to Surf on August the 31st and raising funds the Starlight Foundation who have assisted my beautiful, ever smiling niece Aalyrah Ismail, who at 3 years old has been diagnosed with Leukaemia. Aalyrah's battle has touched soo many people, where her fight and determination has inspired so many people already. Her parents Shameer and Sheree, have been riding the emotional rollercoaster watching their gorgeous little girl fight cancer. Sheree is also 20 weeks pregnant.
As I have recently become a father for the first time to new born twin boys, I couldn't imagine what it would be like seeing an innocent child fight such a cruel disease.
The Starlight foundation runs so many programs assisting both Aalyrah and her parents throughout her treatment process, and I want to do my part to increase awareness of Childhood Leukaemia and raise much needed funds so such brilliant foundations such as Starlight can continue to assist Aalyrah and other children fighting cancer.
Any donations are most welcome, and much appreciated. Ill be running the 12km on August the 31st plus ill also be doing a "shave off" of my hair prior to the run at Lisa Styles in Midland. As we all I know I love my luscious locks, however im asking for the business community of Midland to get behind the shave off to increaser donations for the Starlight Foundation.
Im aiming to raise $20,000.
