Story
Hi there!
On the 12th of August I'll be embarking on the Last One Standing Endurance Race at Oxley Common in Brisbane. Every hour, on the hour, me and a group of other crazies will run a 6.7km lap, repeating this until we can't go any further and need to pull out.
Besides the physical challenge, I'm running in this event in support of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. (https://www.indigenousliteracyfoundation.org.au/) The ILF provide books in First Languages and learning resources to children and families living in remote Communities across Australia. Education and learning is a cause that's close to my heart and I'd like to use this event to raise awareness for the ILF and the great work they do.
I'd appreciate any contribution, big or small, or pledge to sponsor me per lap and see how far I can go! Donations made through this platform are secure, tax deductible and will be remitted directly to the ILF.

Indigenous Literacy Foundation
Being able to read opens so many doors. But in very remote Indigenous communities, books are all too scarce and literacy levels are much lower than anywhere else in Australia. Our purpose is to make a difference to the lives of Indigenous families by not only gifting thousands of new culturally appropriate books - with a focus on early literacy and first language - but also by running programs to inspire the communities to tell and publish their own stories.
