Story
Hi there!
We're making a difference and running for a cause that's close to our heart. We'd appreciate any contribution, big or small.
We are RUNNING FOR THE REEF! Australian politicians are right now making decisions that may allow our Great Barrier Reef to become a coal shipping highway, putting our reef in immediate danger of oil spills and damage. If the Carmichael coal mine in QLD is approved and becomes operational it will mean coal being shipped across to India to be burned, resulting in increased greenhouse gas emissions and increased global temperatures = climate change - further coral bleaching. We should be investing in renewable energy not continuing to borrow from our children's futures and selling coal today! Not at the expense of our Great Barrier Reef (or any reef for that matter!).
We can't fix it all, but we can run 5K. Promise! Please support us! $1 or $100; all donations welcome!
