Story
Hi there!
I have two real passions in life. Health and the environment. Running a marathon will be a massive mile stone for me. I would like to get people involved as I believe health is so important. If anyone wants to come and join by walking, riding or just flying a kite it would mean a great deal to me.
Ever since I was a kid I have always loved the environment. As I have become more involved in conservation I have become aware of the work that Bush Heritage does. I think they way they protect large areas of land all around Australia is so important as it conserves and protects our native flora and fauna. If I could somehow increase awareness of the importance of conservation I would be extremely happy.
On the 20th of October I will be running the marathon along creeklands armidale starting at 6am. If you would like to join in anyway shape or form please come down. I will be starting at the Faulkner street entrance to the creeklands path and heading east.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.

Bush Heritage is a national conservation charity which protects Australia's native wildlife through a simple formula - we buy or acquire land of outstanding conservation value, and then care for it. Our reserves are managed in a similar way to national parks; the land is legally protected, with the intention of safeguarding it forever.
Today, over 34% of all Australia's mammals, as well as 55% of its birds - including many rare and threatened species - are protected on Bush Heritage's reserves and partnership properties, which safeguard millions of hectares of ecologically important land nationwide.
