Story

I managed to conquer the 10km run for the 2017 Melbourne Marathon... it's time to up my game!

This October I'll be running a half marathon for Kivuli at the Medibank Melbourne Marathon. That's 21.1km! surprise (I'm a little nervous...)

Having founded Kivuli alongside my husband in 2010, when 40 orphans and vulnerable children were left displaced and in need of care and protection, it is a project very close to my heart. Over 8 years on the project is still going strong and making a real difference in the lives of many children and families in rural Kenya.

Running for Kivuli is just one small thing I can do to continue to help the amazing work of the team in Kenya. Your support in this means so much and I want to say thank you for helping to make a difference in the lives of so many.

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Kivuli. They're also tax deductible in Aus.

Bless you for your generosity.

Love Dee xo

Kivuli Project Inc (The Trustee for Kivuli Project Trust Fund)

Kivuli Project Inc is an awesome grassroots project situated in rural Kenya that supports vulnerable and orphaned children. It is a joint initiative between Australia and Kenya and it is fully staffed in Kenya by locals. The children are at the heart of this project and we work to connect them back with their families and into their communities where possible.
We strive to support each child holistically including, personally, spiritually, educationally and with the provision of shelter. Thank you for your support it means so much and will make a real difference. Please visit www.kivuliproject.org for more about Kivuli.
