Story

Hi there!

It's that time of year again... running festival!! I have roped my in-laws in this year too and together as a family we are running for an amazing cause.

I know it's a busy time of year for these fundraising emails.... we are so appreciative of any contribution, big or small.

Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Himalayan Health & Hearing.

Established in 2009 by Australian volunteers as the HearingNEPAL Program, Himalayan Health & Hearing Inc. now works with service providers in Nepal and other Himalayan countries, delivering primary ear care and hearing services to disadvantaged people wherever they are able . When possible, they collaboratively value add eye and general health checks.  Their vision is to reduce the incidence of preventable hearing disability, and reduce the suffering of those currently living with hearing impairment.  Their dedication is that all of their combined efforts reduce suffering & become the basis for a better quality of life for all those they meet. 100% of donations go directly to projects in Nepal and the Himalayas.

A quick look at their website will reveal to you that these guys are a truly inspirational bunch, they are so much more than a "hearing charity".  Their man on the ground, Keshab, worked tirelessly to distribute supplies and donations after the recent earthquake in an effort to bring some relief and assistance to some who were affected.

Thank you so much for your support.  Any donation given in generous spirit is most gratefully received.  Our deep gratitude goes to all.

Jodie, Eddie, Pete, Evelyn, Erica and all the team at Himalayan Health & Hearing Inc.
