Cam + Kat Fighting Dementia
Cam + Kat Fighting Dementia
Story
Hey folks,
It's The Running Cam here and I'm back at it again, only this time with some company! This October, Kat and I will be doing a couple of challenges to try and raise valuable funds and awareness for dementia research.
Sunday, October 7th, we'll be heading down to Dandenong Basketball Stadium to tackle the Jayco Rangers Recar Memory Run. A wonderful event and our first ever attempt at helping organise a fun run. Love to see you come down and support!
And then later in October, we'll be off with a group from Dementia Australia to tackle Everest Base Camp!
We have again chosen to raise our funds for the Dementia Australia Research Foundation (funds to be routed via Dementia Australia NSW).
To kick off the fundraising, I'll again be donating $1 for every km I run or walk.
You can follow our journey via any of the social media links below:

Dementia Australia
Dementia Australia is a unified, national peak body for people, of all ages, living with all forms of dementia, and their families and carers. We provide advocacy, support services, education and information, as well as fundraise and facilitate research into dementia.
We aim to give people living with Dementia the respect they deserve and the support they need. We advocate to government and industry on behalf of people living with dementia, their carers and families and work hard to raise community awareness and understanding of dementia. Please visit www.dementia.org.au to access a wide range of resources and how to contact our National Dementia Helpline.
Community support through donations and sponsorship, as well as bequests, is vital to the continuation and growth of our work.
