Story
Marathon for mum 🩷
We (Bree & Dee) will be taking on the Noosa Marathon in dedication to our much beloved mother Robyn Kelly & her heroic battle with Ovarian Cancer.
Each year in Australia around 1,815 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer (5 women every day). As the symptoms are often common complaints (bloating & bowel issues), in most cases, the cancer will be diagnosed at an advanced stage, where it is very difficult to treat.
Around 1,016 women in Australia lose their life to ovarian cancer every year, and the five-year survival rate for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer is 49%.
We would appreciate any contribution, big or small, with all funds raised to be donated to Ovarian Cancer Australia to fund further research for earlier diagnosis & treatment of this cancer.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
Thanks so much for your support!
Bree & Dee x
