Story
Hi there!
I am no stranger to challenges in life, however all of those pale in comparison to what a dear old school friend is going through. So I have decided to push myself further then ever before mentally and physically this year by taking ultra trail events this year (not having run more for then 10k in 20years).
I'm making a difference and running 50km in May and 100km in December for Motor Neurone Disease Research Australia and I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.
Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a devastating and currently incurable illness that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness and paralysis. As the disease progresses, individuals lose the ability to walk, talk, eat, and breathe, and there is no cure yet..
By supporting you can support find new treatments and therapies that may one day cure this debilitating disease. Please consider donating today to help us find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to my charity of choice.
Thanks so much for your support!
Ton
Motor Neurone Disease Research Australia
MND Research Australia funds projects led by Australia’s leading MND researchers. By supporting MNDRA you are sparking new discoveries and ideas to defeat MND by funding new research projects that aim to understand the causes, develop effective treatments, and one day find a cure.
It is only with research that the future of MND will change. Together we will defeat MND.
