Story
Hi there!
I'm making a difference and walking for a cause that's close to my heart. I’d appreciate any contribution, big or small.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly through to Woodbury Autism Education and Research
October 2011 - Tayla was diagnosed with ASD and a global development delay and we have been fortunate to have found therapies that have helped little Miss TayTay and now we have been lucky to enrol her at Woodbury Autism Education and Research.
From today and until March 29th I will be walking and and fundraising
I will be posting progress and photos on Facebook and Instagram
Thanks so much for your support!

Woodbury Autism Education And Research Limited
Woodbury is a small independent school for children with autism. At Woodbury we provide students with a fully research validated and systematic education program based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). The school is located within the peaceful grounds of Balcombe Heights Estate in Baulkham Hills. Autism is a spectrum disorder and effects can be devastating not only for the child but the whole family unit. In its mildest form, autism inhibits an individual from forming relationships and prevents them from understanding normal social interactions which are part of our everyday lives. At its more severe, autism can make individuals extremely difficult to manage making life difficult for the individual and their families, and prevent the person from living independently as an adult. The cause of autism is not known, and there is not a known cure. Recent research indicates that 1 in 100 children worldwide have an autism spectrum disorder.
At Woodbury our teaching methodology provides children with the greatest oppportunity to reach their full potential and take their righful place in the community as fully functioning adults. Every child in Australia has a right to an appropriate education, and by supporting our school you are making a difference in the lives of children with autism and their families.
