Hi friends
On Saturday I plan to run/crawl/roll over the finish line of my first marathon, in the land of hobbits, fush and chups and hills (!)
To turn that negative into a positive I'm raising money for SpinalCure Australia. This organisation funds and promotes medical research into a cure for spinal cord injury.

Spinal Cure Australia
Every day, a common accident results in another Australian being paralysed by a spinal cord injury. The impact of a spinal cord injury on someone’s life – and that of their family and friends – is overwhelming.
A damaged spinal cord not only means losing control of your muscles, but also deprives you of the sensations of pain, pleasure, touch and pressure, the control of bladder and bowel, and sometimes the ability to breathe unaided.
Founded in 1994, SpinalCure’s sole aim is to find a cure for this devastating condition through the promotion and funding of research.
