Story
Hi there!
I will be running in the 'Sydney - Run for Palestine' to raise money for Palestinian refugees at Bourj al-Barajneh Camp in Lebanon. There are approximately 40,000 people in this Camp, who live without citizenship, without proper water and electricity infrastructure, and without the right to work or own property. Generations of Palestinians have been forgotten within the walls of this Camp since 1948 when they were expelled from their homes and not permitted to return.
Through your assistance we hope that this project will enable us to raise enough money to repair the playground at the school for disabled children, and create a space where young people can play and feel safe.
Donations made through this platform are secure and will be remitted directly to APHEDA, who operates a number of Aid programs at this Camp. All donations are fully tax deductable.
