Story
Richard is supporting EON Foundation & Direct Reach Ethiopia by running eight marathons, one in each state or territory of Australia!
When thinking about your donation, it would be great if you could:
1) Donate in multiple of $42 - 42km is the distance of the marathon
2) Remember that there are EIGHT marathons - a total of 336km!
3) You donate once, or come back for EACH Marathon - you can follow progress via https://www.facebook.com/RunRichardRun and get a handy reminder to come back again.

Direct Reach Ethiopia (Global Development Group – J750N) and Eon Benevolent Fund Inc Split Donation
Direct Reach Ethiopia (DRE) partners with Global Development Group (GDG) on development project (J750N) together with Hope for Children Organization Ethiopia (HFCOE). The project empowers HIV/AIDS affected children and families to live with dignity in their local communities, and promotes child rights – such as basic needs being met. Additionally, the project conducts community awareness and education programs about HIV/AIDS as well as mobilising support from the community and addressing the social stigma around HIV/AIDS. Founded in 2005, EON is a WA based not-for-profit organisation that delivers a food and nutrition focused healthy lifestyle and disease prevention program. The Program is now established and proven in 16 Indigenous communities in Western Australia. We build edible gardens in remote Indigenous schools and communities for a secure supply of fresh food, and partner with them to deliver a hands-on practical gardening, nutrition education, cooking and hygiene program.
Direct Reach Ethiopia is proud to be a partner for Project J750N Direct Reach Ethiopia with Global Development Group (GDG; ABN 57 102 400 993), an Australian NGO approved by the Minister for Foreign Affairs. Gifts over $2 with a preference for this approved development project are tax deductible, receipts issued by Go Fundraise on behalf of GDG. Excess funds may be directed to another approved activity.
