Fighting Chance Runners & Rollers
Fighting Chance Runners & Rollers
Story
Dear friends, family and colleagues,
On August 10th 2014 Paul and Madeline will be entering the Sydney City 2 Surf. Together we hope to conquer the 14kms to raise funds for Fighting Chance Australia.
Fighting Chance is a youth-led, not for profit organisation for young Australians with physical disabilities. Fighting Chance exists to create opportunities, in areas of employment and life experience for young people who face endemic levels of unemployment and social isolation, simply because they have a disability.
Madeline has been with Fighting Chance for well over a year. In this time she has been part of the retail enterprise program called Avenue. Madeline spends her week working on the stock management of all products sold at weekend markets. This makes Madeline really happy and also gives her a huge amount of satisfaction.
Raising money for Fighting Chance is very important to us because it will enable Fighting Chance to build on The Enterprise program that helps Madeline and the other interns with employment opportunities. I ask you all to help support the work of this fantastic organisation that is very close to our hearts.
If you are lucky you might see us winning the City 2 Surf on August 10th! We will be sure to mention all those kind people who donate in our winning speech.
Blink and you will miss us!
Thanks for your support.
