Fighting Chance Runners & Rollers!
Fighting Chance Runners & Rollers!
Story
Dear family, friends and colleagues,
It is time to start the gruelling training regime because this year Nick and I are running and rolling the City 2 Surf with a team from Fighting Chance. For those of you who don't know who Fighting Chance are, here is a little explanation.
Fighting Chance is a non-profit organisation which exists to enrich the lives of young adults with disabilities (just like Nick) in Australia. Through the creation of innovative training programs and social businesses, Fighting Chance provides opportunities for meaningful social participation, employment and skill development to young people with the most significant disabilities in our community. To find out more go to www.fightingchance.org.au
There is no other organisation that is quite like Fighting Chance. They make in so many lives on a daily basis, including Nick and our family. Fighting Chance is a NGO charity organisation and therefore we really do rely on donations so we are really appreciative of anything you might be able to contribute to sponsor me and Nick in "running & rolling" the City 2 Surf this year!
Fighting Chance Australia
